Pants.

Hi,

Pants. They come in lots of lovely colours, patterns and even some strange fabrics… But more to the point, they’re my favourite thing to say the name of when something goes wrong. What I’m trying to say is, rather than going s*** or f*** when something goes the opposite way to which I would have liked, I say PANTS! You may think that this is rude to pants but in no way am I hating on or dissing pants. No. In no way at all. Where would we be without them? In a sticky place, probably, but that’s not the point.

The point is I’m having to say it on a regular basis because our little Dell Inspiron 1501 has gone and kaput itself (kaput is basically f***ed in a German kind of way… sort of). Well, to be fair it fell backwards off of the little upturned shopping basket that it usually sits on (long story, and no, I’m not a tramp). What’s happened is the screen has cracked itself. Now if you own one of these laptops or you bothered to look up Dell Inspiron 1501, you’re probably thinking, ‘cracked? I didn’t know plastic screens could crack…’. Well, you’re right, but it’s a different type of crack. It’s that the little (minuscule, really) lights that make up the screens pixels (look really closely at this word and you can see it’s made up of loads of little dots…pixels) have been smashed and have gone a bit loopy. They can’t display what they want to so basically half (diagonally as well) of my laptop screen is out of use. Haywire. Nutty. Bonkers. You get the picture… (or do you?)

So what I’m trying to tell you, as softly as I can, is that I wont be making a single graphic for at least another month until we get a new laptop and I get Photoshop installed on it…and all of my Photoshop brushes…and patterns…and loads of other stuff.

Feel sorry for me.

Now.

You know you want to.

Maybe you don’t.

Maybe you need to be taught to.

Taught to feel sorry for me.

I’m am more off of track than ever before.

It feels good.

And like I’m losing you and every other reader I ever had.

Stopping the sentence a line thing and moving on, there’s not actually that much to tell or write to you about…except Apps.

Yes, my iPod’s still in good condition, apart from the little scratches…

You like recommendations of Apps, don’t you? Well, I’ll give some, even if you don’t like them… so there.

Lets start with the one and almighty… (drum-roll, please)… Tap Tap Revenge 4! Yes, it’s out, and pretty much the same as ever before. I never really liked it as it’s a total rip off to buy music and clothes for an online avatar which nobody gives a damn what’s wearing, so I’m not sure why I’m recommending it too, but millions of people seem to love it so I’m guessing you will. If you don’t know what it is then go on the App Store and look at the Top 25 FREE Apps. It’s in the top 5. Get it. Or not. Your choice.

Secondly, I’ll recommend you an App I actually like. The developers called it DoodleKart. It’s another one of those doodle-theme based games and it’s great. You’re a little racer guy and you can even draw your own karts! It’s awesome! Here’s a few of mine…

Yeah, I admit, none of them are cars, but they look so cool in a line-up before a race. The two at the bottom are empty slots, or as I see them, space for more madness! Meh Heh Heh!

NEXT!

Well, this App is unique. In a way that there’s no other App with the same graphics or name. Not so unique, really, then, is it?

It’s called Reckless Racing and it’s awesome. At first, for some reason, I saw it and thought it was just another failed attempt at another good racing game. But I was wrong, it wasn’t a failed one. It was a success. Oh, for God sake, why do I have to do these stupidly long intros to everything? GGRR…

Basically, you’re a little 4×4 and you’re racing against some other crazy nutters in army vehicles, tractor units and buggies. It’s so fun, there’s a lake and puddles, crates, other trucks and even some jumps. In the full version (I only have lite, @Stralis33CP has the full version) there’s even a cliff and you get to race as the other cars and jump of the cliff. Or if you’re like me or Stralis33, you’ll shunt other racers off of the cliff. That’s much more fun. 😉

I think that’s kind of it from me, although I do have one more cool thing for you.

Lately, I’ve got totally addicted to Deadmau5 (pronounced Dead-Mouse) the DJ-mixer-guy based in Toronto. He wears this awesome mask when he does gigs, take a look:

It also flashes to the beat of the music, it has lights in the mouth and eyes. How epic can you get? I’ve heard he even gets payed by his agent $1000 per gig just to wear it! He always takes the offer.

What I’m leading to is a little gift because you’ve been so good coming to my site! Your FREE little gift is three Deadmau5 songs, and I mean FREE. I’ve put my top three favourites from Deadmau5 into the gift (Strobe (Radio Edit), Arguru (Original Mix) and Faxing Berlin). Hello,

How are you today, reader? Good? I am. I’ve just got home from London Stansted airport because I was in Germany. I had to go to a funeral in my family…

But seeing as you wouldn’t be interested in that kind of thing I will share some graphics with you that, really, should be vector graphics, not raster. Here be the graphics:

I used the pen tool a lot and the ‘Snap To Grid’ feature. The pen tool really is one of the best tools on Photoshop and I highly recommend you watch some tutorials or something if you don’t or don’t know how to use it! I have created so much with it…

Anyway I may have another something here too. Lets have a look…

AAHH Yes. This is an Elf Guy that I was taught to draw by my Mum ages ago and thought I should computerise. This was also done using the pen tool and the ‘Stroke Path’ mini feature. Seeing as this is hardly what you were expecting (well I very much doubt it) I will let you at something else on my hard-drive. Here be it:

Like it? It is kind of a copy of what Windows made for Vista’s wallpaper collection, except I did it and I also added glossiness to make t 100 times better! It’s 800×600 px. so it won’t fit for a normal computer screen for a wallpaper but if you want one made to fit a 1280×800 px. screen or any other dimensions come to think of it through me a comment…

I like comments…

Anyway, lets upload some more for you, shall we…

Pretty big…

I think it may be 1280×800 so it will fit perfectly (on most PCs) for a desktop wallpaper. I know I have even more for you so more’s on the way. Right now, in fact:

Also made to fit a normal PC screen size this particular picture is quite strange. I was experimenting during the making of the below image, and liked this so much I quickly saved it as a .PNG and continued to end up with this:

This obviously is also made to fit 128×800 dimensions. I have one more for you, this time it’s fully compatible with the Apple iTouch family devises, excluding the iPad, so you can use it as a great lock-screen background. What I was trying to say is it fits an iPod Touch or iPhone screen perfectly:

Do the same as usual, visit this page on your devise and save the image. Your very spoilt, you know. You just where given 7 images FREE for you to use at your free will! You should be very grateful…

Whatever…

If your on an iPad right now then don’t feel left out. I will soon be making iPad lock-screen wallpapers too so you can have that awesome Dapizz look wherever you are, whenever…

Stop being a show-off Dapizz…

Bye, Dapizz – 😀
