Cripes!

Hiya, People,

I’m really amazed today because I’ve just had a little look at our stats for this website and I’ve been literally gob-smacked! The results are both incredibly low and high (for different times, I have’t lost my marbles!)! Here’s a few numbers to look over and be amazed at:

  1. To start with I can tell you that the post two days ago with over 120 tags did get me exactly 70 hits! Isn’t that kind of strange yet unbelievably cool at the same time. I mean, the guess of 70 I put in the last post, I think, was, as I said, a totally random guess at a bit more than 58 (I saw it at 58 hits about an hour before).
  2. Secondly the monthly hit counter is quite amazing.
  • In June 2010 I collected a whopping…8 hits. How utterly crap!
  • More impressive was September 2010 with 394 hits. Space for improvement…
  • And this month, October, well it’s been great. This is only the 18th day of this month, about halfway, so we’ve got a load of head start to beat last month! C’mon guys!

Also today I have a load of really cool graphics things, perfect for iTouch wallpapers, mainly because they were created on an iPod Touch! Here they are:

Pretty awesome, huh. How your sitting there thinking how the f*** did he do that on an iPod without doing it pixel by ixel in a very advanced non-existant photo editing App. Well, I can tell you, I didn’t. Big surprise there! To make them I used an App called Meritum Paint. More info…

At the moment, Meritum Paint has to be my highest rated App on the entire store. It’s so easy to use and the iPad version must be a hell of an experience! OOHH…an iPad… Concentrate! As I was saying…UURR…Yeah…Well, that’s how I created these awesome images. What you do is drag your finger or toe or nose or whatever across the screen and you get loads of strange wisps come out of you into your devise! It’s incredible! You can have 3 settings to draw in too. There’s Normal where the strand things are just sharp, solid colour, then you have Neon, the setting I drew these pictures in and last and very much least we have Sci-Fi which is rubbish and not worth talking about! That’s basically it, go download it. It’s FREE!

Whilst I’m on the subject of Apps though I will tell you about another really cool App! It’s called Soosiz and its really cool. Here’s a picture:

Search it in the App store if you want more information but basically you walk and jump around loads of planets (from one to another) and let little people follow you (you’re supposedly saving them) and you finnish the level after defeating a few enemies and stuff. In the full version there’s loads of worlds and even bosses (big spiky balls) but you obviously have to pay for it (I got it for FREE because it was on the FreeAppADay scheme thingy.

Anyway, that’s all for today so bye.

Yabber-Yob

Hello,

How are you today, reader? Good? I am. I’ve just got home from London Stansted airport because I was in Germany. I had to go to a funeral in my family…

But seeing as you wouldn’t be interested in that kind of thing I will share some graphics with you that, really, should be vector graphics, not raster. Here be the graphics:

I used the pen tool a lot and the ‘Snap To Grid’ feature. The pen tool really is one of the best tools on Photoshop and I highly recommend you watch some tutorials or something if you don’t or don’t know how to use it! I have created so much with it…

Anyway I may have another something here too. Lets have a look…

AAHH Yes. This is an Elf Guy that I was taught to draw by my Mum ages ago and thought I should computerise. This was also done using the pen tool and the ‘Stroke Path’ mini feature. Seeing as this is hardly what you were expecting (well I very much doubt it) I will let you at something else on my hard-drive. Here be it:

Like it? It is kind of a copy of what Windows made for Vista’s wallpaper collection, except I did it and I also added glossiness to make t 100 times better! It’s 800×600 px. so it won’t fit for a normal computer screen for a wallpaper but if you want one made to fit a 1280×800 px. screen or any other dimensions come to think of it through me a comment…

I like comments…

Anyway, lets upload some more for you, shall we…

Pretty big…

I think it may be 1280×800 so it will fit perfectly (on most PCs) for a desktop wallpaper. I know I have even more for you so more’s on the way. Right now, in fact:

Also made to fit a normal PC screen size this particular picture is quite strange. I was experimenting during the making of the below image, and liked this so much I quickly saved it as a .PNG and continued to end up with this:

This obviously is also made to fit 128×800 dimensions. I have one more for you, this time it’s fully compatible with the Apple iTouch family devises, excluding the iPad, so you can use it as a great lock-screen background. What I was trying to say is it fits an iPod Touch or iPhone screen perfectly:

Do the same as usual, visit this page on your devise and save the image. Your very spoilt, you know. You just where given 7 images FREE for you to use at your free will! You should be very grateful…

Whatever…

If your on an iPad right now then don’t feel left out. I will soon be making iPad lock-screen wallpapers too so you can have that awesome Dapizz look wherever you are, whenever…

Stop being a show-off Dapizz…

Bye, Dapizz – 😀

Pure Carbon Fibre

Hiya, Graphicy People,

Today I have some awesome carbon-fibre-effect wallpapers for you, 100% FREE! Here they are. The top one has been made to perfectly fit as a PC wallpaper, 1280 pixels by 800 pixels (1280×800). The second, however has been custom made to fit perfectly on an iPod Touch or iPhone screen (480×320), just great for the locked screen picture (basically a wallpaper). BTW I don’t know whether the iPhone 4 may have different screen dimensions. I know it has higher resolution with retina display but that’s different, if you have one, try it out.

Anyway, the pictures:

Pretty cool, huh?

Now, for the iPhone and iPod Touch…

Take them! Just right-click and ‘Save Image As’. For the iTouch one it would probably be easier to visit this page on your devise. Hold your finger on the picture for 3 seconds and a menu will appear at the bottom. Tap ‘Save Image’ then to set it as your unlock screen picture got into Settings>Wallpaper>Saved Photos>(This Picture)>Set. Check again and it will be your picture on the lock screen. Also iPod Touch 3rd Generation, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 users can set it as there home-screen background! Just do the same except tap ‘Set Home Screen Wallpaper’ or ‘Set Both’ when it asks you. Please use them…

Ok, So your wandering what font I used…

Look no further. In both of the wallpapers I used a graffiti style font called Stylin’ BRK. It was a FREE font I downloaded just this morning from Dafont. I also got another one, El Font Urban Calligraphy. Here’s a preview of it:

Anyway, Here are the download links. They’re linked directly to the files so you shoul just be able to click the link and the download will immediately begin:

El Font Urban Calligraphy

Stylin’ BRK

There you go. Now you should be extremely thankful! Whatever…

I think that all really for today…

Bye, Dapizz – 😀
